Bachelorette Party in Cleveland

Updated: Apr 21

My bestie requested a low key, one night bachelorette party right her in Cleveland. She loves to swim, dance and be creative so I had the perfect plan to celebrate her. I have several of the decor items I used linked at the end of this post!

I decided to host the party right at my own apartment...(sorry David...had to kick him out for the day!) You all know I HAD to decorate the whole place with all the fun decor - and some special decor for the bride's room, too! The girls came over in the morning and I had a brunch, complete with a chocolate fountain ready to go.

One of my favorite things to set up at bach parties are backdrops for photo opps! Those foil curtains are super easy to set up (they just have a sticky part on the top part) and then I typically do a balloon arch. For this smaller space, I just did a couple helium filled balloons. AND you have to be sure to include props! Leis, feather boas, fun glasses, crowns, so many great ideas you can grab at a dollar store or Amazon. I also drew and cut out a couple of my own designs!

After brunch we headed out to a paint and sip class at the Painting with a Twist studio in North Olmsted. Then the rest of the afternoon was spent relaxing and tanning by the pool with fun drink cups and floaties!

For the later portion of the evening, we dolled up a bit and we went out to dinner at Nuevo in Cleveland. It's a great area, right on the water and by one of the Cleveland signs! Then we hit the town for some rooftop drinks and dancing. There are a lot of options but here are two area recommendations:

E.4th Street area is safe, easy to walk and pretty casual. Pick Wick and Frolic is a great lounge-y bar with a lot of seating nooks and areas to check out. In the basement of PickWick is Hilarities where they host comedy shows and dinner theatre - definitely a must do! Along E.4th are plenty of bars to check out for fun drinks, delicious restaurants and Corner Alley which features bowling and arcade games to enjoy.

The Flats East Bank is very walkable and has a lot to do, plus if you are looking for a place to stay, the Aloft is right there and you don't even have to worry about getting an Uber anywhere. The Flats are definitely suited for your partying group - live music, nightclubs, large crowds, etc. Good Night John Boy is a super fun 70s themed bar - definitely recommend going early to this one if you want the experience. Most nights the line to get in is outrageous. Punch Bowl Social is a fun eatertainment place with putt-putt, bowling, arcade games, etc. There is also FWD Day+Night Club which is an open-air venue with a rooftop pool, bottle service and private reservations - you definitely need to get. If you're in to breweries, also check out Collision Bend Brewing Company right next to The Flats and right on the river with lovely views. There are a ton of other bars and clubs to check out!

One of my favorite parts about bachelorette parties is making the bride feel special! I always love supplying some extra special goodies for them and doing things that THEY want to do. Check out my blog post here for other ways to make the bachelorette feel extra special at her party!
